Electrical Designer

Are you a passionate Electrical Designer with a knack for innovation and a commitment to excellence? Solutions AEC, a leading provider of design/build MEP services across the nation, is seeking a talented individual to join our dynamic electrical team. In this role, you’ll work closely with experienced team members to create high-quality electrical design and construction documents, including engineering calculations and drawings. We’re looking for someone who brings a strong work ethic, a drive for continuous improvement, a client-focused mindset, and a belief in servant leadership to elevate our projects and culture.
What You'll Do:
- Design and layout complete electrical systems with precision and creativity
- Leverage Revit and other cutting-edge design software to perform calculations and deliver top-tier solutions
- Produce detailed construction drawings and specifications for bidding and construction phases
- Enhance our design processes by utilizing tools and proposing innovative improvements
- Support construction efforts through contractor coordination, equipment submittals, bid estimation, and procurement assistance
What You Bring:
- Associate’s Degree in Design or Drafting with 1-5 years of technical experience
- Hands-on experience designing Power, Lighting, Telecom, Fire Alarm, Access Control, or Security Systems (preferred but not required)
- Familiarity with IBC, NEC, NFPA, IESNA, or similar building standards (a plus)
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Power Tools, and general office software
- A collaborative spirit—thrives in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving, communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Experience in design/build projects (a bonus!)
