Solutions AEC is an innovation leader in the delivery of Engineering lead design-build Mechanical, Plumbing, and Electrical design and construction services. We are searching for a Commissioning Agent, who, in addition to the responsibilities and qualifications noted below, is a lifelong learner, has a strong work ethic, a passion for engineering and continuous improvement, is a good client steward, and believes in and embraces servant leadership. This position reports directly to the department manager.

Responsibilities Include:

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Design/Build MEP services market
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company growth targets
- Sales revenue expectation of $500,000 annually
- Client Relationship Management

- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns
- Facilitate communication between clients and internal teams to ensure project success

- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other internal teams to deliver high-quality MEP solutions
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
- Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise
- Perform complete electrical systems design according to code requirements
- Optimize designs for cost effective solutions to owner project scope requirements
- Mentor less experienced engineers and or designers
- Represent Solutions AEC at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and project details in the CRM system
- Gather feedback from clients to ensure their satisfaction with our services
- Address any client concerns promptly and effectively
- Implement strategies to improve client retention and loyalty
Qualifications:
- P.E. licensure with a minimum 10 years of electrical engineering experience with design of facility Power, Lighting, Telecom, Fire Alarm, Access Control System, and Security System
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or client management within the construction or MEP industry
- Experience with maintaining strong client relationships and leading meeting presentations
- Proven experience in client management, preferably in the construction or architectural engineering industry
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
- Ability to lead and manage multiple projects and relationships simultaneously
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
- Outstanding problem-solving skills, oral and written communication skills, time management, and organizational skills are required
- Strong understanding of Design/Build MEP services, project delivery processes, and market demands
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of LEED documentation a plus
- Working knowledge of the IBC, NEC, NFPA, IESNA, and other building standards
- Experience with extracting RFP’s, preparing fee estimates, developing proposals, and design narratives
- Willingness to travel as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of sustainable and energy-efficient MEP solutions
- Experience in REVIT, Power Tools, Accubid a plus
- Knowledge of the Phoenix’s MEP market sectors
